This processing is necessary to provide a secure, stable and error-free website. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure operation of our website. Data is deleted when it is no longer needed for this purpose, unless statutory retention duties apply.

3. Hosting

We use hosting and infrastructure service providers to make this website available. They process the data required for website operation on our behalf. Where processing takes place outside the European Union or European Economic Area, an appropriate level of data protection is ensured in accordance with the applicable legal requirements.

4. Contact by email

If you contact us by email, we process your contact details and message in order to respond. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual or contractual communication and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR in all other cases. Our legitimate interest is the appropriate handling of enquiries.

We delete this data when the enquiry has been fully dealt with and no statutory retention duties apply.

5. Cookies, analytics and external content

This website currently uses no proprietary analytics or marketing services and embeds no external media. A cookie consent banner is therefore not currently required. Technically necessary functions of the hosting service remain unaffected.

6. Recipients

Personal data is only made available to parties that need it for the purposes described above. These may include hosting, IT and email service providers acting as processors or independent controllers.

7. Your rights

Subject to the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. You may withdraw consent at any time with future effect.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information is one competent authority.
